  • Reporting in V4.0; need more numbers behind the decimal point

My reports in V4.0 consistently show the GD&T call-outs with just 4 digits behind the decimal point, see attached file.

I figured out how to change the .LBL files. I even found the Read only check, that needed to be unchecked. But how can I get the numbers in that call to read with more than 4 digits behind the decimal point???

    Any ideas? Jan.

I know nothing about 4.0 but since James is not here someone should get involved. Maybe Winston will figure it out I think he is on 4 right now. Does 4 have a display precision like lower versions and does that show in the reports when you change it? Lower versions it was F5.

Yes, I have that set at 5 and my report window and some of the legacy tolerancing DOES print with 5 digits. However, the new dimensioning seems to ignore the 5 digits call out and keeps printing at 4. I was told by 1-800 helpful that this was something I need to set in the LBL file. But I can not find it. At all.

So anybody an idea of what to try next??

      Please let me know.

I think this is a bug in V4.0 reporting. I know at least one dimension precision issue with reporting was fixed in V4.1.

Thanks. I already started to think I was running into a bug.

Just found out the solution to this problem. In order to set the amount of digits, you have to use the DisplayPrecision/5. That way the new tolerances will display with 5 digits behind the decimal point.
