re-release of 4.0

Any one have any more details on why they re-released this version? The web site does not offer a lot of info.
Anybody go the newest, and is it "better" than the previous 4.0? Any real changes????

I hope so, because the first one still had big bugs.

Report window would pop open for no reason as you were programming & Square slots would not be picked up correctly when measuring off of a CAD model.

New and Improved v4.0

4.0 was "re" released because there were a couple of issues that we found that we did not want in a release version. The latest (as of this writing) and greatest 4.0 would be from Friday evening, March 17th. Anything prior to that is superceded with this v4.0 release.

We never stopped testing it, and while it is never "perfect" there are just certain things that we understand customers would not appreciate happening to them. When we catch them in time to correct them, they get fixed..

While we all tend to do alot of Bi t ching here, it is all for a common goal, make Pc-dmis better, and I know thats your priority too.

Now I imagine you don't have a ton of control over things at Wilcox/B&S/Hexagon, but if you guys had a few gineau pigs to test the software in the "real" world, it might save some face for all of you over there....

I know there has been requests for beta testers, but c'mon, giving you a discount on your SMA ? Really, c'mon B & S. You can do better than that you cheap buggers !

I for one would be happy to make the time and help save face on crappy releases like 4.0 , oh ya and that ver 3.6, nice one dudes.

Now , I realize we cannot test all hardware, controllers and stuff, but the major bugs ppl are finding are down right embarassing.

Don, you have been very forthright and honest and helpful here, hopefully it can continue...
