  • Alignment??

    Hey guys, I have complete my first new program, as I try testing out the first pc online, Im already having all sorts of problems in the beginning, i set a rd point to start at a hole after it does that the probe does not seem to find the part at all, but now I'm getting a machine parameter out of tol.           I didn't look any further since this will cause the problem you are having "the probe does not seem to find the part at all".

          You are recalling the original machine alignment (STARTUP) and not using the Read Point in the first "part" alignment. Matter of fact, you are not referencing anything for XY and Z origins.

            …Too much explaining to do. The quickest way to solve your problem is to post a partial drawing; may be someone here nice enough to write a sample code for you to look at.

                Further review shows your second alignment is the same way.
                Looks like you didn't click on the features that you wanted to use for your alignment.
                Despite what a salesperson might have said, the software doesn't program for you....

                  Don't use spaces, or math symbols when naming a feature.

                  Alpha characters, numbers, underscore key. This is what the manual recommends.

                  When creating an alignment, you have to select a feature from the side box. Ortherwise you get a meaningless alignment.

                              Agree with all, you need to select "read point" from the feature box, in the alignment utilities window, before checking "x" "y" & "z" and establishing an origin for them.
