  • Please need some help!

    Hi All,
I am brand new and I need some help. I am running a B & S micro-hite CMM with PC Dmis Pro 3.7 Maintance Release 2 software. I need to know how to turn off the garphic display of the TesaStar-I head and probe in the graphics area. It stays on all the time and it blocks out the features I am putting in the display. It is very anoying. Can some one please help me out?
    Thanks for your time.

in your probe definition, click the display check box off where you want the display to stop.

IF you are not sure of what Ironhoe says:
PCDMIS Help File Search for probe component

There are no bugs, only "UNDOCUMENTED ENHANCEMENTS!"

In your probe definition box, double-click left mouse button on any item . It will bring up a box that you can un-check to not draw the component.

            What I do is:
            1) Open the probe defition box
            2) Double click on the component above the styli
            3) Uncheck the "Draw this component" box

Everything above the styli should be gone now. You will need to do this for all your probes, it isn't a universal change.

From the pull down menu at the top.
                Click on - Operation
                Click on - Calibrate/Edit
                Click on - Active Probe

Probe Description is in the lower left

double click on second from last item (leave the "Tip" displayed)
                uncheck " Draw this component"

                Good Luck
