  • Changing input precision in metric program

when I program say for example, an offset angle in an alignment in english, I can have the precision to 4 decimal places, but only 3 in metric. Im sure im missing a setting (hopefully) but all I can find is precision output, say for dimensions.

anyone know where the setting is for input precision for angles?

very strange. prior to changing it to 4 decimal before the alignment and back to 3 after the alignment, my vectors were not precise. granet it only added two to the sixth decimal place (.998648 vs .998646...), but still I dont like excepting innacurate vectors when I dont have to. Thanks.

put a +0 behind your vectors then you can carry them out as far as you want. They will not change.

To change number of decimal places

        Insert/Parameter Change/Dimensions/Display Precision
        or
        ALT-I-P-D-D

        then
change to number of decimal places required
