If you were to report a true position for a hole in 2 axes using another hole as a datum, shouldn't the calculated deviation be the same if you align in the same 2 axes to the datum hole and report true position without using a datum?

If your alignment meets the requirements of the feature control frame (fcf)then you should not have to use a datum in your output, however if your fcf allows MMC or LMC to be applied to the datum feature then you would need to use it in your output.sigpic Eye Yam Sofa King We Todd It.
