  • CAD Window in Hyperreport

Why can't I use a clip plane in a CAD window on a hyperreport?

    Very frustrating!!

I'm measuring a housing with a bearing at each end and I want to show how parallel the central bore isn't to the bearing axis. I can do it in the graphics display window - but I can't put it in a hyperreport so that my customer can see it too!!

    Anyone have any ideas?

Well, don;t get too attached to the hyper-report, it is gone with V4.0 and up. It is my understanding that old hyper-reports will still work in V4.0 and up, but that you will not be able to edit or create new ones.

You can print it out in your report. It is not as nice looking and it will not have the cad image with it.

Is it just a graphic you need to have as a map? Most of the time when I have these CAD issues, I just printscreen, paste it to MS-Word, then print it to the PDF file.

We also use a PDF join program to put different pages together.

          PH-CK Hyper Reports!!

I have been trying to figure it out for a while now (vs 3.2063). Do a Screen Capture to Clipboard, and paste it into Word or PowerPoint. Much simpler, and decent results.

They should have called them "Hyper setup instruction templates" because they are awesome for that. Ill back up Andrew on the report deal, they stink for that. B&S marketed that one completely wrong. They had a great tool for set up instructions and a mini front end then pushed it as a post inspect reporting tool. I use it all the time for pre inspect but for reporting, forget about it.
