Hi all,

I'm a Net Admin and have inherited support for PC-DMIS. We would like to replace one of the PC's running PC-DMIS (moooore power). They would like to keep running 3 different versions (3.5 MR2, 3.7MR1, and 3.7MR3 (apparently to be able to reference previous jobs?). They would also like to give 4.1 a spin.

My question: Is there a document that outlines the installation/migration procedures for PC-DMIS? Can anyone point me in a productive direction?

I have gotten no where. Attempts to install are met with error messages. I must have spent over an hour on the phone and haven't yet come close to anyone resembling technical support (so I fruitlessly attempted it blind). Each call seems to end with getting dumped to someone else's email. The support level I've experienced must truly be a low water mark. Sorry, had to vent a bit too!

You can do not need all those versions. You can run and older version with a newer version. You can also save a program as a older version using the save as feature. I would keep the 3.7 mr3, until you are happy with the 4.1 You can download any version at
http://www.wilcoxassoc.com/home.htm I am assuming this is how you are doing this. you will have to have them email you your key codes if you dont have them. Save every file on the server and download them on a different drive after you download succestfully from wilcox.
