    do you use it? whats it do? what are the different 2D - 3D settings? mine is set to off...

    I used to use it before CAD was widely availble. Even back then though I stopped using it because in the earlier versions, 3.25 I think, when you measured a polar vector point from say your main alignment and then translated to an effective radius origin, reported that PR and answered yes to the question of "Do you want to send the nominals back to the feature?" it used to mess up your measurements. That has since been fixed (I'm pretty sure), but I still don't use it. I am just as effective (pun intended) measuring auto-vector points and then translating to them.

      i am having an issue with a program the was written in 3.5. one dimension that used to always check good is now out in version 3.7 and was wondering if it had to do with prob comp. ive got some digging to do.

        can someone explain this?

        i opened the back-up copy of the program that got messed up, i saved it on cd rom a year and a half ago. run it in v3.5. it checks good, open it in v3.7 it checks good. same part same program??? was checking bad, is now checking good with the back-up program. crazyness. http://www.mmiclan.com/smilies/vb_icon_scratch.gif

            Vector Comp

            Iv'e used it to check a radius from a specific origin. Say when the arc length is to short to create a circle accuratly.
