Hello CMMers. I have a cad model translated to 3.7mr2. The cad origin is on 5 degrees. Another person had the same cad model translated into 4.1 and the origin was where the datums are. How does 4.1 do this????? Thanks for the input

You can translate, rotate, etc. the origin to wherever you want in 4.0/4.1 but simply importing it in the different versions shouldn't make a difference.
First thing I would definitely check the CAD import files and make sure whatever you are importing is the same CAD files as as different PC Dmis versions should import using the same CAD coordinates
