I have a problem I hope ya'll can help me with.
I got here this morning and fired up the machine. I went to open a program and it opened fine. I noticed all my toolbars were gone.
I right clicked in the open area and hit one of the toolbars. I then got the good ol message that PCDMIS must shut down.
I reopened PCDMIS and tried it again. Same thing. I tried it on different programs but it still gets the Shut Down message.
Any thoughts on what might be wrong?

    Thanks

GBARSTATE file, in the user-id directory in the Pcdmis install directory could be trashed. Re-name it and try Pcdmis again.

Try looking in your login name folder. in the pcdmis install dir.. I log in as admin and there is a folder named admin in there that has my gbarstate file

Rename it to what. Does it have to be specific?

Rename to whatever you want. Pcdmis will make a new file. Close PCD then reopen after you rename file

Now I am not able to open anything. I get that message. I renamed the GBARSTATE file and closed everything but nothing is working now.
I am not able to open any program now.

What would happen if I delete that file completly. If PCDMIS makes another one, why won't it work if I just delete it?

                        Just a thought.

                          I would try this:

Copy the whole directory of PCDMIS into another directory. Then install an upgrade version into that copied directory. A file somewhere probably got curropted or damaged. Instead of rooting it out, this fresh install should fix it.
I used to be high on life but I built up a tolerance.

I also run 3.5mr2 and just did a rename of my file and as soon as I opened my first program it made a new file I would have to redo my tool bars and save them but I just deleted it and re renamed my file. With PCD closed can you just double click a program to open PCD?

Yes I opened My Computer, went to PCDMIS folder, opened a program out of there.
I went throught the steps of building a new toolbar and it let me. When I closed down and reopened, it was gone.
I renamed the new toolbar to gbarstate and reme,d the old on to something else.
Here is what is in that folder.
