Edit Window goes blank????

This problem just started. Measued a plane 2 circled in the Z+ work plane and made a basic alignment alignment. Repeated the same steps in DCC and ran the DCC portion of my program. Edit window comes up blank??? It appears I can still take points but nothing shows in the edit window. Also if I exit the program and close PcDmis and reopen PcDmis it enters directly into that program???????????? After reboot of the computer I have control of PCDmis again. But run into the same problem if I run that program. I delete that program and made a new one......same problem.

Blank screen

Had this problem with 3.2082.
Had to close all and reboot.
updated to 3.5
Have a simular problem with 3.7 mr2, but that had to do with the print function to pdf file was canceled with out printing.
was able to recover by printing to pdf file. edit window will reappear.
once in a great while new features or moves will not show on screen.
file save, file close, file reopen, program all there.

The"Summary Mode" works, The "Command, Full Report, and Last Execution Report Mades" do not display in the Edit Window (Where the program code is displayed)

David P that might be my problem I was using PDF for large reports today (not a normal here). I'll try to work on it probably this weekend.

I actually had this happen while I was at B&S for training. The guy teaching the class told me it happened on 3.7MR2, but not on every install. Happens on some machines but not others. You can reset it by opening the Edit Window Print Preview, then closing it. Very irritating. The machine I was using did it after every single execution, whether it was the whole program or a single feature.

Kevinb that appears to be a quick fix. I'll see what happens this weekend. I'v been running 3.7MR2 for several months with no problem (lucky me) I't might be time for MR3. Program just ended and I can see my program Thanks David and Kevin.

I think it is a buffer overrun in the open gl code or some 3D plug in. It is definately graphic card related. I am curious as to what Graphic cards everyone involved are using, and do they use the trademarked "Lightning"? At least make sure your card drivers and supporting graphic rendering softwares are current (I.E. irect X etc.). Here is a good site for that pupose:

I had this happen in 3.7mr2. Don't know if I've had it in 3.7mr3. My solution was to open pc-dmis (comes up with program blah, blah, blah) then ctrl+alt+del then task manager then end task for pc-dmis. The computer would then come up with the program not responding... When all done re-open pc-dmis and everthing was back to normal.

this happens all the time here. Using the edit window preview and then closing the preview works fine as a work around, and this happens quite frequently here as a matter of fact. It is quite annoying, but the work around is easy enough. If anyone knows how to get rid of this issue permanently short of a new version, please let us know ASAP!

yep.. I have that problem with the edit and graphics window. I minimize them and reopen then they are fine till next time. It is irritating and time consuming. I have a Nvidea GfOrce 6800, 256 mg card. Drivers are to date. I'm running 3.7 mr2

It happens alot here. My experiences are related to fat CAD files. However, when the text window is blank, I click in it, roll the mouse wheel, it shows back up 1 line at a time. I have seen a reduction as we have reduced the number of items checked in the iges import options.
