  • Excel Report AS9102 Format

I recently downloaded a script file from the Wilcox website that populates an Excel inspection report with the PC-DMIS results. Does anyone have a script file that will populate an Excel worksheet of the AS9102 Form 3 FAI report?

I do not know what thattype of report is. But, if you post an example I may have something similar that can be cobbled to suit your needs?

Sorry I wasn't familiar with that form. We obviously are not aerospace at my facilty. We are sort of space cadets though? I do not think I have anything to offer to you sorry for your troubles. I learned a new term though that counts for something.

I have been looking at this cmmautoimport file I downloaded from the Wilcox website. It appears to be a series of macros in the Excel spreadsheet that somehow retreives data from PC-DMIS. Does anyone know how this works, and how I could create something to populate the AS9102 form I am working with?

The post to cell order is not that difficult, but time consuming.
Here is something that James Doolittle made a while back.
there are more advanced copies available if you wish.

I know I know I am dragging up an old post, but just an FYI for future searchers of the forum, Hexagon has a utility to automatically fill out AS9102 forms from PC-DMIS programs. PM me for information.

AS 9102 is the standard for aerospace parts. It is part of AS9100

While on the subject of Excel Spreadsheets...

Sorry I don't have an answer for you Franky but, since we are all talking about Excel spreadsheets I've got another question...
I have the Basic script from Hexagon that converts a report from PCDMIS to an Excel spreadsheet and I've been tweaking it to get the desired report for our customer. What I need to know is what are the basic variable names that PCDIMS uses for values in the report? I am sure there are variables used to represent all of measured output values along with values that are entered into the header of the PCDMIS report. I just don't know what any of them are. I have been lucky enough to guess at one of them, "BONUS", and have that work. I would like to be able to extract header information such as the Revision and Serial number values and plug that into the Excel report.
One other thing I've found is that this basic script only works when I use Legacy Dimensioning. At this point in time that is fine but, eventually I need to get into the latest format. Is there a script available that can utilize the latest format? I'd appreciate information on this.
                          John.

Is there anything out there that can create an Excel report for multiple inspections for the same part? Any help appreciated.
