    Serialization Error 3.7MR3

    Anybody ever encounter one of these?

    I'm sitting there chugging along writing a program, measuring features (online) when all of the sudden, I get the dreaded "PCDLRN has encountered problems and must close"

    I click OK. I wait a minute once the application reopens and then choose the program I was working on. I get a message that reads:

    "CBSE-F21542-1-BL.PRG: SERIALIZATION ERROR
    Error: ALT"

    My program will not open at all.

    Precisely what I was doing when this happened was- changing the name of a feature I had just measured. That is the best description I have. I put in a call to the dreaded "Software Tech Support", and am still waiting for a callback. I figured I'd give the old reliable Forum a try.

    It might be that you slimmed your probe file. delete the probe file that program uses, then try to open it again.

      Will I have to re- build the probe file?
