Anyone offer up some advice on how to check PERP. of a plane back to a cylinder? Whenever I try I get some outrageous numbers.
Measure the cylinder, level to the cylinder, measure the plane, select perpendicularity, first select the plane, then the cylinder. You must be in the proper work plane or will get crazy numbers. HTH

Anyone ever tell you you're the man? Well...........ya are! Thanks Mr. Cisco!
BTW, do you like..live on the forum? Cuz you reply pretty darn quickly!
You are very welcome.
No, I don't live here, but I check in while I have stuff running. There are times when I only get to peek in a couple times for a minute or two all day. Most of the time I check in fairly often and try to always check the main forum to see if there is a new question I can help with. That is what makes this forum so great, many of us doing just that means anytime you need help there is a good chance you will get it quickly.

Wes, Just click new posts and you get all the new stuff on the off-topic and on the "on-topic" forum all at once.
I am having some troubles with a perpendicularity measurement. I am measuring two circles and construction a cylinder to get the centerline/ axis. I then...
Imagine an empty beer mug lying on it's side. However, the handle of the mug doesn't drive straight toward the center of the mug, it's at a slight angle....
Using mm4 I would just intersect the plane with the cylinder and get the dimension from the corner of the part. I am not sure what to do with the new...
