Excel or Word Auto report

Our customer asked to simplified reports coming out from CMM,they want cmm reports on EXCEL or WORD format ,like CFG 1003 FORMAT ,I do inspection on 5 pc's with up to 200 Dimensions,any advice on some reporting software to send the report to after excution directly, to have all 5 pc's reports in on report..please help me in the name of software , prices and contact names if posible,

Datapage can give you what you are looking for. It can give nice summary reports, but you might have to do a little work to make them look nice in Excel.

Oh, Underspec, he needs a summary of 5 pieces, isn't that what his post says or am I not reading it right?

Check out this link. It will create the CFG 1003 report for you from the Pc-Dmis generated rtf files. Takes a little bit of tweaking to get the FCF's just right but if you're going to be doing a lot of these type reports it will pay for itself in no time. Creates other style reports as well.

I currently use the Excel VB script from Wilcox. I modded it a bit to create individual .csv files for each part run. The autoreport I use is a custom one from our shop here, but to put it simply, it allows you to browse for and select the .csv files to enter into the report. You could gather all the .csv files from all 5 machines, and compile a single report from all of them. Not too sure about the CFG 1003 format though - I've never used that one.

Post or send me your e-mail addy. I have an autoimport sheet in Excel format that uses the latest CFG-1003 format I posted somewhere in here awhile back, but, it is only built for one part at a time.
