Edit Window Docking

I started at a new place and whenever I run a program my edit window un-docks. I cannot remember how I fixed this at my old shop. Please help.

You can setup your edit window layout and save it. Right click on the tool bar and turn on the layout window options. You can then click on your saved edit window layout. BAM, it's back to normal

right click in the command mode window and select the "docking view" option

then do what underspec said

At my old shop I did not need to recall the layout. I know there is a way, but I cannot figure it out. I have my gbarstate set to read only, so my buttons stay where I want them, but the edit window keeps popping out.
