  • New Computer

Hi , I am getting a new computer today and would like to know how to get my IP address information.
    I have a global Image with a PH10M and a SP600 head.
Currently running V-3.5 with NT and will be going to XP professional.
    Any advise is welcome.

    Thanks, Sean

    at a command prompt C:\
    type ipconfig

do this in a DOS window listed under start/programs/accesories

this will give you the networked pc info but NOT the controller IP address

this I'm not sure how to get.....I think its in the hyperterminal area

to get to a dos window just goto START, and RUN, then type in CMD

      Then do what Mike said.

        Controller IP

To get the controller IP information, you could just look at what the old computer was using for PC-DMIS. This is in the Machine Interface area, if you are using TCP/IP connection.

Other than that youo need to go to terminal mode and enter the command SHOW CNTRLR_IP for the controller and SHOW HOST_IP for the computer. I believe the spelling is correct, might be CTRLR_IP or similar).
