Did you try the help menu? Elipse is an autofeature in 3.7MR3. HTH

Do you mean the inside of the ellipse? This is an AutoFeature function.

If you meant the top surface around the ellipse, this is a perimeter scan.

Both depen on the version you are using, as they are (relatively) recent enhancements.

Did they give you a length and width call out or they really want perimeter? If you have nominals for the length and width of the ellipse and the part is ok when dimensioned this way then I think theoretically the perimeter would also be good.

Yes, customer only wants the perimeter due to it is a plastic part thus out of shape badly. I found another method (OGP) to measure it.
