I am going to install 4.0 (to play with)and keep my current version, I am following your instructions from a previous post for doing so and was wondering if you had done this with version 4.0 and if there were any issues.

I have not even gotten my CD of V4.0 yet. And yes, my SMA is up to date. SO, sorry, I can't help you there. If I don't get it, I can't play with it.

BUT, so far, I have not had any issues with installing a newer version following my previously posted method. Just remember, the SEARCH PATHS will be common for ALL versions you have installed.

Do not install 4.0!!! If you are going to install anything install the beta copy of 4.1. I am using one dated 07-03-06. That or anything newer should be good for you to use. I am using this as we speak and have found no real bugs. I use the stock report template "textonly" and it seems to work good.

Thanks for the update... I was sent 4.0 and was wanting to play with it. If you say to try 4.1 then I will do just that.

I have yet to get a CD unannounced from B&S. Yes, we do keep all SMA's up to date within the corporation. I have to call B&S and then have been told to download it from the Wilcox site.

Wait one second, back the truck up!

Went to the Wilcox site and all I see is 4.0. 4.1 is no where to be found. I know I've seen it there, but they must have done something to make these chages. The latest and greatest is 4.0 from March of this year.


Anybody got any ideas?
