  • 90 Degree Probe Tip

How can one utilize a 90 degree Probe Tip and calibrate. It would be like having only one tip attached to the star Probe Body at 90 degrees with the other 4 tips removed from the star probe body.

Help!!!!!!!! Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks Gary

I take it you cannot get to the feature with a A90B0 or with the other styli on the probe body.

That is exactly the way to build the probe.

      Extension
Star tip 4 or 5 way
      tip in one position
      leave the other positions empty

      Should calibrate just fine.

Attached is a copy of one of mine. HTH

I know things are different over there, but here we only have one "right" and we also have a "front" you seem to be missing. But it is a good idea to make yourself a diagram of your star probe and label the tips, especially if you will be rotating the wrist.

Most important tip of the day was Wes's tip on making yourself a diagram.
I did this thankfully, with our star probe--helped tremendously when I had to rotate to 4 different angles. Even then I was upside down trying to figure out what tip was what......

You are very welcome, but I would rather be a wizard than a God. LOL Nothing against anyone's God. I just don't think I am up to shouldering all that responsibility.

You just want to be Gandalf. Wand envy thing.
When in doubt, post code. A second set of eyes might see something you missed.

But not that phony from Kansas with the big balloon. I may be a lot of things, but a "pretender" is not one of them.
And not Randall Flagg, because I am just not *that* evil.

And it is not wand envy, but rather a poor coping strategy for dealing with modern civilization thru voluntary indulgence in escapist daydreams fueled by film and fiction.
