Jog box "print" button

I may be overlooking something obvious, but it seems I've lost the ability to insert a move-point into a program by pressing the "print" button on the jog box.

A few things that have changed in the last few weeks:

1) We have installed a new two-screen computer with all the bells and whistles running Windows XP with 3.5 MR2. We had been running this version on Windows NT.

2) During the last two weeks while I was on vacation someone crashed the CMM, but all seems to now be functioning correctly.

I have gone to the PC-DMIS help screen and followed the directions to modify the registry settings to set the Sharpe 32 controller "print button" setting to "true". When I press the print button I see something register in the graphics display side of the display, but the program does not indicate the addition ot the move-point. Anyone have any ideas?

Check this... go edit - preferences - machine interface setup. If you have a sharpe32 controller there should be a tab labelled "Sharpe32". Click that tab and at the top is dropdown menu next to the word "print". Make sure that is set to "move point" and not "erase hit"

there is a box setting that can be checked

I had a similar problem I had the show move point shut off in the edit window layout
