We recently had our calibration done, and due {I think} to several years of use and the installation of a hoist over the machine last year, we had a bunch of gunk in the bearings.
Our tech did clean some of them, and got us down to a 12.2 micron volumetric calibration (outside of the 8.7 manufacturers spec for our machine). Based on what we do, and tolerances etc., we accepted this value for now.
(We will do a thorough cleaning and re-laser, re-cert later this year).

But my question, is how many of you out there are in the same position, outside of the manufacturers spec for volumetric accuracy of the machine?

Just curious........
