Am getting this upon trying to start up pcdmis
"Portlock has not been verified for this version of Pcdmis. Please contact representative. Exiting"
rebooted, and still get this error.
Now, it was working ok. I have oil in the air lines right now, and am addressing that issue. So, while the air is off, i thought I would start writting programs offline. After I started (with the old dummy program) I was having probe issues, and some how got kicked out (pcdlrn error). When I tried to restart, this is the error I got.
Oh, No SMA and I am using version 3.5Mr2

Ok, is the portlock plugged in? Do you have an older version of pc-dmis you can try?

Yes, tries 3.5 and 3.25 to no avail. I have a file coming that is supposed to reprogram my portlock. I'll update when I get it and execute...\

            Kevin,

I have a picture of your CMM right here (Yahoo! Slurp Spider gave it to me). It looks like 3.5 has booted just fine.

Perhaps your problem is the Micron PC those things are crap.

Dude! That is it. How the **** did you get that pic?!
I don't think the CPU is totaly a micron. This guy builds all the CPU's here. He might have just used a shell for that thing - BUT I can deff go and find out.

This means that your portlock does not have the security option enabled (3.25 Enable). You need to contact your pc-dmis supplier for this... oh and have your portlock number and KEY ID ready.

They will send you 2 passwords or an exe file to fix this.
