    I work part time at at a place in Tempe. They need a CMM guy. Good people to work for. Let me know if you are interested. I cut and pasted their ad.

    As a leading manufacturer of high precision parts for the Aerospace industry, we are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team. Currently we are in search of a Quality Inspector.

    We are a dynamic and growing company, offering a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, optical, and optional 401k.

    Job requirements (please do not apply unless you have all of the following requirements):

    *Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in Quality for an aerospace manufacturing environment with "hands-on" experience.

    *Knowledge in shop math functions, geometric tolerances, inspection set-up procedures and blueprint interpretation is necessary.

    *Must be able to support basic part measurement using calipers, various gages, comparator and CMM.

    *5-8 years experience in the machine shop industry

    *Will be performing quality related work to ensure customer requirements and quality system requirements are met.

    *Must be detail oriented including precise documentation and record keeping abilities.

    *Will be responsible for most administrative aspects of the QA area within the company. This includes spec management, detailed inspection plan and first article documentation generation.

    Must have knowledge of ISO9002 and AS9100 desirable but not required.

    Will they pay for relocation ?

      It's a fairly small shop. The owners are young and new to the machine shop business. But they have a good business base and it is growing. They need some talented inspectors. I have been at my job for over 20 years, otherwise I would work for these guys full time.
