  • Manual TTP Scanning & Export

I'm having to manually scan some features on a part. When I export to an IGES file, the feature that I scanned comes out as points. How can I fix this?

Check your export settings. There are setting that let you set scan export to either points or PLOYLINES. No splines are available. You are probably set to DEFAULT as points.

Thanks Matt. Also would anyone know why my export CAD IGES file would measure out different on a CAD Program than PCDMIS??

When you export the features, are you exporting with the correct alignment?..Just an Idea

It's default at startup but I changed it to the last alignment, which is where I wanted it.

But it seems it wasn't my fault at all . It was the CAD guy who picked the wrong features for dimensioning on the CAD file. Yay!
