I know this was discussed before, but things change over time.
About a month or so ago I was led to believe the Catia V5 R16 DCI works with PC D-MIS V3.7 MR-3.
V3.7 MR-2 only works with Catia V5 R15 DCI.
This is a problem because customers are supplying V5 R16 models now.
Recently we've had alot of problems getting dumped out of V3.7 MR-2
I requested I.T. install the released version of V3.7 MR-3 and they did and we find it does not work with Catia V5 R16.
While I can convert R16 .CATParts (parts) to R15, I can not convert R16 .CATProducts (assemblies) to R15.
I have been having to extract all assembly data out of Catia for all Assembly programs.
You have to wonder why we bought DCI.
The only way out I see, is to buy a seat of Catia Delmia, that can use V5 R16 and supposedly outputs to PC D-MIS.
Does anybody have a similar situation? How are you dealing with it?
