  • Auto features from CAD

When I create an auto feature and select a radius from the CAD model it distributes points beyond the radius. Not a full 360 but just beyond either end. Anyone know what it is that I have done? Is it maybe the CAD file?

Could be improperly trimed curves on the cad-model. This isnt a big deal..just change your start and end angles.

I don't think you've done anything wrong and I'm not at all sure it's the cad file, however, you can F9 the feature in the edit window and tighten up the start and end angles and the demon will redistribute the points for you.

I've been doing just that but it's happening on all of the radius features on the part. I though maybe I had settings wrong. It has never done this before.

Separate the wire and solid into two different layers, you have a layer issue.
