  • Why DCC alignment won't take over

    Here is what I did before: manually aligned the part and changed the manual to DCC in program and run the program again the machine will automatically align the part. I actually change the threoratical values in the program to make the alignment more acurate. Today, I have no idea why, even after I changed the manual to DCC, the machine still asks me to do the alignment manually?
    Here are the first few lines of the program.

    File Header
    STARTUP=Start Aligmnet
    Load Probe--PH10-2MM
    Load Tip--T1A0B0
    Comment--Make sure nothing in the fixture
    Manual/DCC Mode (This is where I change btw manual and DCC)
    Fly Mode

      DON'T change a MANUAL to DCC, do a MANUAL then do a second one, in DCC.

            I'm glad I'm not the only one requesting this James. I agree with you, Admin should make it a requirement to fill this info out when you join.

              It was "done", at least the software specific stuff, a couple months ago or so, BUT, anyone who signed up before then was not required to do so.

                      OK, I can do what your guys suggested to do a manual alignment first and DCC alignment second. But I did change manual alignment after the first time and it worked. Now it won't anymore.

                      Here is the alignment section of the program:

                      File Header
                      STARTUP=Start Alignment

                          That's my problem. The computer which runs the PC-DMIS is not connected to internet, not even to the network. I did copy the program to a USB flash card. But I can't read it on my regular computer (the one I'm using now) as it is .PRG file, not to cut and paste. How to do it then?
