    This thing happened to me a few time, I did not know why, please advice.


    I use cad++ 3.5, after all manual alignment , twice dcc alignment, part is well locked with cad, then I start checking part, on a 5.00"wide 80.00" long corver surface, there are some specific area profile requiremnet are difference, so I have to make some local alignment (lterative) to report it, but just after this alignment, the ACTL value of the point I used to make alignment on this surface CHANGED. wHY THE ALIGNMENT change the checking value? I did not make anything fancy, normal 3-2-1 alignment.

      This is not insert another alignment before some auto feture, it ask you to update the commands or not, it is after take all hits, then make alignment to report those hits just checked, somehow the point used to make alignment the ACTL value changed, all other points keep the same, I cannot tell why.

        Post the Code (Do you Recall any alignment in the program ???)or is just the 3,2,1 alignment

          when make this alignment it is auto recall the previous alignment which is all hits took under that alignment. this alignment just 3-2-1 alignment.

              Try saving the alignment then recall...

                Because the report did not make sense, so I go back have a look, I saw those touched points which I used to make alignment changed, those points did not use to make alignment no change.

                      you can see the mds 34 to mds 35 almost .015" difference, but they are very close on surface ( 1.00" apart), no mismatch on surface, if you go back to look those hits z value mds35 to 37is about .015 off nominal but mds34 and 38 are almost nominal , I re-touch these two points, it shown same as all other three points, but after the alignment it go back to shown as above.

                        Not my particular area of expertise but it looks like something is missing. The ONLY values you show inspected OR reported are MDS34 thru MDS39 (actually the actual value for MDS34 is missing from the code so you only have ONE point in the alignment listed in the measurement section). Your alignment uses the following:
                        ID = MDS_89

                        ID = SET_1
                        ID = MIDC
                        ID = MDS_34
                        ID = MDS_38
                        ID =
                        Your alignment is going to be based on the points selected and the ones you are asking about are a small percentage of those (only one point out of ?? How many points are in the sets?? - see what I am saying?). Is it possible your alignment is rotating and translating to the point that these numbers reflect exactly what you asked for? I think you are still going to need more code here for analysis including the mesurement actuals of the points used to create the alignment.

                        Anybody else see anything here?
