  • Here's a quick one for you guys and gals... Air Fault Error

Our compressor is down at the moment and I can't figure out a way to even look at my programs to troubleshoot or anything... Is there anyway to open PC-Dmis offline without having air going to my machine? Thanks in advance if you can help me out...

Have the Operator blow into the air line while you edit your program.

My machine doesnt use air, but can't you just actually go into "offline" mode and edit?

Yeah, I already tried that. I've been breathing into a paper bag for the last 10 minutes. Got really dizzy and stuff... However, I was able to probe my manual alignment...

If there is a way to go directly offline I'm not aware of it. I keep getting an "emergency error" and I can either hit ok and have the error keep appearing or I can click on "shut down" and there it goes... Same thing when I start up. I was hoping there would be a seperate .exe file for offline but there isn't. I'm at a loss....

i had the same issue back about 5-6 months with 3.7 MR2

answer...NO....you can not go directly into "offline" mode without an "offline seat" (portlock)

there is no way to get past any "air" related errors upon startup

believe me, I tried and tech support said no way.....kinda sucky

earlier versions have a work around though...search the old postings

                  good luck

Thanks for the reply guys... I think you're right Bob... No luck at all. I've got air to my machine now so I can actually work for the last 1/2 hour of the day.
