Help to work with CAD models.

Hi, usually work with parts that require manual dimension, but today i need to do a dimensional report using a CAD model, ¿ how can start the job in the piece ?, i mean already i get the file of CAD model.

Have you already done your alignment (iterative or cad=part)?

First.....Does your version of PCDMIS support CAD importation?
Do you have 3.7 mr 2 or 3 CAd ++?
Also, What format is the CAD model in? Is it an IGES file?, DXF? STEP?
Need to know some of these things, give us alittle more info....

Thank you to pay attention to my request. My version of PC DMIS is 3.7 mr3 and the tipe of CAD model is CATIA v5. ¿ what tools i must use to measure in the piece after do an interactive alignment ?.
