  • Adding a custom probe !

    Hey all,

I'm adding a custom probe that is not in the database when I go and build it. How can I add the components manually into the database?? I was not supplied anything with the probe to do this. Cmon pros!

I used to be high on life but I built up a tolerance.

Open up your probe file in any text editor. I use notepad. Find a probe that is close to your custom one and copy it. You can paste it right below, or I like to open a fresh window just to be safe. Now edit to match your custom probe. Copy and paste back into your probe file. That should do it. HTH

A little hint, I change the color of the custom probes to identify the custom probes from the canned probes. It's a little visual aid that helps me out. My custom probes are blue and the canned ones are red. (Obviously)

The first file in your probe.dat file list gives a rough outline for each of the lines for your different probes.

            Good Luck
