  • Auto feature circle help

    If I want to use thickness to project a profile, I need to use theoretical or actual (the problem is I have a gage and one of block is short 3.5mm (for profile purpose) and have a hole on it, and I need to find out if hole is the right x,y,z position but when I use Auto circle and take the 3 hit in the surface, and then add the 3.5 thickness the probe don’t find the surface stop 3.5 mm up any idea how to use Thickness Thank you in advance

    You can use DEPTH, positive for a hole, negative for a stud.

        make sure that SHOW PATH (or what ever it is called) is turned on in the auto features window. It will show you what happens for each change you make to any of the settings, either stock thickness, depth, height, all of those things. Works fairly well. Sometimes it only works on already created features, you simply hit F9 while the cursor is on the feature in the edit window, they play with the settings.

          change the Depth to -3.5mm is take the hit in the surface but don't find the hole because the whole thing go up 3.5 mm

              you change the nominals to b 3.5 more and then change the depth 3,5 deeper

                  I change the theo to -3.5 and the and the deph to -3.5but the probe crash in the edges
