  • body alig. to print alig.

I have a part that is in car body position, I do an iterative alignment, using features from cad not datum fratures, all is good. Part is set on a gage block for datum A(from print), my question is how do I get part to match print ABC

    Thanks

The way I normally do this is after the iterative alignments I measure the datums per the print and create a new alignment.

If you did both manual and DCC iterative alignments (per Cad) you could
finish checking all the features and before recalling dimensions create the
          ABC alignment per print.

Otherwise you can do the ABC at the begining right after the manual iterative.

          No difference.
