  • PC-dmis Error Message

I keep trying to open up Pc-dmis, and all I can get is a little error window saing that there in an "Emergency Error". The only options I have are two buttons, "OK" and "Shut Down". But every time that I het "Ok", the window just pops up again. Any ideas for what I should do?

Turn *EVERYTHING* off. Wait for at least 3 minutes. Turn it all back on. This solves a lot of problems. HTH

      Reboot and open PC-Dmis again.
If that doesn't work reboot the machine and the pc

Check and make sure that the E-STOP button on the joy-box is not depressed (and I don't mean sad!). If it is, you need to twist in (turn it) in one direction or the other until it pops back up.

I'm not sure what was wrong with it, but rebooting the CMM and computer seemed to fix everything.

Thats the first thing I do, no matter what the problem. Its amazing how many problems a reboot and cure.
