Maybe you all know this already. I just discovered that we can change the keyboard shortcuts for just about everything. Even create new keyboard shortcuts for tasks that don't already have one or create new tasks as well.

    View→toolbars→customize
    click on the "keyboard" tab
select task you would like to edit commands for
enter desired shortcut in the "new shortcut" box
    click assign

Has anyone figured out a way to assign views to the keyboard. I want to be able to hit Ctrl+Shift+Z and get a +Z view for example.

DaddyBluto, it's been a while since you posted this and I'm sure you have already figured this out but I wanted to post the answer, specifically for V2014.1, just in case somebody else had the same question.

Do as #2# has stated above, select Operation from the category drop down, select the view that you desire (i.e. Z Plus), type new shortcut (i.e. Ctrl+Shift+Z for Zplus view), Click Assign and your good to go.
