I know this was covered somewhere else but I can not find it now.

I am having difficulty calibrating a disc styli. I seem to remember it was recomended somewhere that discs only be calibrated using 5 hits on one level. PC-DMIS doesn't want to let me do this. In the "measure probe" window I set the hits to 5 and the number of levels to 1. When I run the calibration it takes three hits on two levels. Any suggestions?

10 hits, 2 levels, +/-5 degrees for the 'start/end' angles for along the vector of the probe, don't know which one it is off-hand for the calibration.
