At the end of the program when it comes time to print some how the program is switching from my default printer to the "PC DMIS 250 CONVERTER" and it makes it the default printer. Anyone had this happen to them and if so how did you make it stop doing this. V4.2 MR1

Is there multiple print commands in your program? Be sure your printer that you want to use is set for default. Be sure your print settings are going to that default printer within PC-Dmis. JC

It prints to the converter when you send your reports to a PDF file. Check and see if you have that box checked and not the actual print box.

The program does not contain any print commands. I have the printing taking place from the "REPORT PRINT OPTION" window. And it's not just when it runs one certain program it does it with every run of any program for the last 3 days now. Never before that. The defaults are set set and reset.

This a constant headache for us. And, it was doing it since version 4.0 (now at v4.2mr1). There are times we have to rebot to get it to generate a report. I'd like to know if there are any ideas on how to get it to stop.

            JOSH,

Both are checked as always we send the info to the printer and the file and have for years.

              Settimg Editor

              Ignore Dimension Icon
This value is used to resolve a problem that exists with some HP printer drivers where the
dimension icon on the table is not implemented correctly. Set this value to TRUE (1) to avoid
              problems with these printers.
              Entry Name: IgnoreDimensionIcon
Entry Type: Whole Number specifying TRUE (1) or FALSE (0). Default value is 0.
User permission is required to change entry

              Printing
This section of the PC-DMIS Settings Editor allows you to set parameters that are used for
printing from PC-DMIS to printers of output files (RTF or PDF).
It currently has the DoNotUseAmyuniRTF entry
              Do Not Use Amyuni RTF
This value is used to determine if PC-DMIS will use the old-style RTF output rather than the
              Amyuni RTF output.
              Entry Name: DoNotUseAmyuniRTF
Entry Type: Whole Number to specify RTF output option. Default value is (0).
User permission is required to change entry
              Output Option Key:
0 RTF output uses Amyuni RTF output.
1 RTF output uses the old style RTF if you have selected the RTF output option via the
Report Print Options dialog box before the program was executed. Setting the
PRINT/REPORT command to RTF will not work correctly for this value.
2 RTF output uses the old style RTF even if you have not set the option to “Print to
RTF” in the Report Print Setup dialog box before the program was executed. This is
useful for the Blade program where the wrong control would be used for reporting
resulting in nothing being output if the flag was set to 1. Under all conditions the
correct text object is used to display text in the report window.
