have you ask your Renishaw rep about repair by exchange.
this is where they send you a rebuilt one and you send them yours. this is alot faster
also ask for a discount most will give you a 10% discount I have found if you ask they will. If they refuse check into other suppliers even renishaw will give this discount of 10%

Is there a source to buy or rebuild Renishaw probe modules besides having to go to Renishaw directly?
