Anyone using this combination? If you are what are the pluses and/or minuses? Just curious how far Wilcox has come in getting the Perceptron Laser to work with PC-DMIS.

From what I understand, they have overcome the hurdle of amassing thousands of points, through Pcdmis portable. I did not get to see it this year at the tech show, but i did talk to a few folks about it.

It's come a long way since it was first demo'd. In V4.0, you can deal with up to 5 million points in a point cloud. In V4.1, 35 million points is the limit. Performance of Graphics display of the points is also pretty awesome.Comment
