Program stopping

I am having a problem with a program stopping at a bladescan command. When this happens I stop the program. I put the cursor at the scan and do a CNTRL E and it works perfectly.
If I do a CONTROL-U, it does nothing. Any ideas???

Has it ever worked and if so, what if anything has changed? Have you had it calibrated recently by Hexagon?

Thanks Peter, these are brand new machines, and we're still in the learning mode. But... we re-generated scan and it works now.
