  • Inspect 4.1 Will not connect to directories

Has anyone experienced 4.1 not wanting to connect to program folders?

Currently our programs are stored on a server & with 4.1 it never wants to connect to the folder it only shows it's loading. With previous versions we aren't experiencing this at all they immediately connect.

Running 4.1.26.0. Definitely much slower than previous versions with network folders. Took 2.5 minutes to load contents of a folder that is 4.17 GB.

Klaus, have you tried the latest 4.1 or the 4.2 - We made improvements on that

I am having timing issues as well. Running Inspect version 4.1 on 4 shop floor cmm's with PCDMIS 2020 R1. Suddenly it is taking 5 or more minutes to display results. In Inspect under Settings, General, Reports I see that it is dumping results into a local folder. Checking the folder revealed over 15,000 files. I can change the path reported as admin but why can't I delete it? I am already sending the results to MeasureLink. Don't understand what is happening when this has been working great for years.

Is the problem how long it takes for your report to appear after you execute a routine? Or is it how long it takes for results to appear in the measurement summary view within Inspect or both?
