  • Dataview Target Charts-Help needed

I'm new to target charts, so you might have to excuse me. I am trying to report on the true position of some holes in a liftgate inner. On the target chart, it will only show my the Y & Z axis deviations even though some holes need the X axis instead of the Z axis. How can I get it to show correctly? My variable set includes only the axis I need, as an example:

    hole1.d
    hole1.x
    hole1.y

With that, the target shows the Y & Z deviation only.

I replied to this before the site went down on the 19th but somehow lost -

Try going to OPTIONS...CHART DISPLAY...TARGET PLOT...change REFERENCE AXIS or Planes to XY or what is required.

Also, make sure that it is the correct view plane for the deviations listed it could be a mirror image and that may confuse some people.

Make sure that you change the default diameter to match your allowable true position tolerance also...
