    Default Computer question.

I have a offline seat and I tried to install 3.7 on my laptop at home witch runs windows vista. I get to where it tells me to put my hasp in then it says somethings not found. I forgot exactly what it says. I was going to buy a laptop with xp pro to try to install to but I have a XP pro disc from work. Can I just instal XP pro onto my laptop or is that not possible.

you could install XP and create a dual boot laptop, thereby saving all your Vista stuff.
either create a new partition (for XP) on your laptop during xp install, or pre-create it before installing XP (in Vista) using the free utility:
    http://download.cnet.com/EaseUS-Partition-Master-Home-Edition/3000-2248_4-10863346.html
then to manage the dual-boot system, install this boot manager: (also free)...

a simple (and FREE) solution to your situation
