Yes.

You need the Blade package, which is a module of sorts that uses PC-DMIS to become a blade-inspection system.
It consists of Blade Runner, a front-end system for operators, a special PC-DMIS part program, and Blade - a special reporting software that calculates and reports all the aerofoil-specific dimensions.

It depends on the exact inspection requirements. I inspect blades all day long with only PC-DMIS CAD. There are some blade prints that will require very specific types of calculations and relationships that this specialized module might help with. There are other prints for very similar products that will use more conventional datum and tolerancing schemes that can be readily checked without this module. It all depends on your specific customer requirements.
