  • Script for Getting Nominal and Measured Values of Circle

    Hello there,

    I am trying to get the nominal and measured values of a circle, namely, the X, Y, Z values of the circle center in a script. But I got “Type Mismatch” error.
    Why is that?
    Please find the script attached.

    Use GetHit() instead. Look at my script "To points" for source code:

      Thanks vpt.se . GetHit() gets the values of every hit, but I want to get the values of the hole feature. How can I do that?

      Thanks

        If you write a very small PC-DMIS program and Export as Basic you might get some ideas. Unfortunately, it looks like the Basic Export mainly uses PutText...

          What you're doing is not far off from how I do it. not sure why it isn't working...works fine for me.

          Code:
           bool = oCmd.FeatureCommand.GetPoint(FPOINT_CENTROID, FDATA_MEAS, x, y, z)
           bool = oCmd.FeatureCommand.GetVector(FVECTOR_VECTOR, FDATA_MEAS, i, j, k)
