PC-DMIS programs on a Faro arm

What are the pitfalls of using existing programs written for a DCC CMM with a FARO arm.

Is there a lot of conversion needed?

Must the program be re-written to function in a manual mode?

Can you just remove the DCC mode command from the code and go?

Removing the DCC command isn't even necessary. The only thing to change in the program is adjusting the Probe change commands. All you need are the probe commands that reference the Faro.
