Using DataPage I am having a problem printing the states on a network printer. Error always shows and locks up the computer (windows error). Has anybody had the same issue and any suggestions?

You could try downloading and installing CUTE PDF writer, then 'print' to that (it acts like an installed printer), then print from Adobe. This will also let you email the Datapage reports AND CHARTS (which you can not do right now!).

Thanks, I will have to give it a try. Was this a problem for everybody?

I can print across the network just fine. Can other packages print across the network to this printer?

Yes I can get everything else to print on a network printer, just not datapage. I was thinking of re-installing datapage this is what tech support suggested. I have two machines and neither one prints on a network printer.

I re-installed datapage and same error comes up. I will try to download the cute pdf and see how the adobe works.

It was a windows error and the tech support wasnt able to help.
I did download the cute pdf along with a ghost converter. It works great and they can easily be saved and emailed. I do like this option better and can be filed very easily.

Did I tell you? Did I tell you? Yippee!
Actually, I was just passing along the advise someone else gave on here a LONG time ago when someone wanted to ahve an electronic copy of the charts Datapage makes, and Datapage didn't ahve an option to save them to a file and that was the suggestion. Gald it worked. Yeah, it's an extra step that you SHOULDN'T have to take, but then so was the original about getting an electronic chart. Pretty stupid that Datapage CAN'T make them 'files'.

I agree, we shouldnt have to do the extra step but I do like the electronic files. Thanks for the help. I am creating folders now to save them electronically.
