we have just loaded 3.7mr1 on 2 of our machines. have a couple of questions. the header & footer on the reports are now green:D . how do you change them back to black? run an existing program that had a created circle from a cone at a specified height. did not convert in 3.7. i had to create a plane and intersect the cone for the result. has anyone else had these type of problems?

3.7 MR1 has "issues" with programs written in 3.5 & earlier. Probably 3.6 too, if anyone was ever able to finish a program in that version. MR2 fixes these issues, but is still prone to fairly frequent random shutdowns. What you really want, if you are talking 3.7 is MR3. If all you can get is MR1 you should probably seriously consider sticking with 3.5 MR2. My .02, and yes you were overcharged!:p

Edit -> Preferences -> Edit Window Colors...
or
Shift+F6

Change what you need.

 Why MR1 instead of MR3?
MR3 seems pretty stable.

edit window colors/shift f6 does not apply to what i'm referring to. as for mr1-somebody said it b4:" you run what they give you". we will be upgrading to
mr3 sometime in the near..........future.

I thought that this is what you needed. Could you be more specific if it is not?

The portion of the header/footer you wish to change is not within your control. Maybe someone from B&S / Wilcox has a reason why, but it escapes me. :(

George,
My appologies, I do not take pleasure in raining on your parade. I would much prefer to tell you how to do what you would like to, if there was a way. I am only trying to save you some of the hours of grief myself and some others went thru with MR1. I was in class about 1 year ago and the instructor did not know how to change that green. It comes up from time to time on the forum and no one has ever posted a way to do it that I saw. I will be most happy if someone can shoot me down on this. I do hope you get MR 3 soon, you still won't be able to change the green, but otherwise it is a good version. :)

OK I think I found a way.

Get to Edit Window Colors...

Click Import

Browse to PCDMISW directory

Choose AUTUMN COLORS

Edit from there.

You can't seem to change the color any other way.
